Supervision types and the clinical form

Set the type of clinical oversight on a session, and complete the Recovery Innovations Clinical Supervision Form where your organization uses it.

What you’ll need

  • A supervision session on the sign page

This guide covers two related fields on a supervision session: the supervision type, and the clinical form that certain organizations complete before signing. Both are set by the supervisor on the sign page.

Set the supervision type

The supervision type records what kind of clinical oversight the session provided. Set it on the session's sign page at /sign/[sessionId].

The available types are:

  • Peer
  • Nursing
  • Clinician
  • Administrative
  • App
  • Other

Choose the type that matches the oversight you provided. It becomes part of the sealed session record.

Note: Supervision type is distinct from the session type (individual, triadic, or group) set when you log or schedule the session. Session type describes the format; supervision type describes the nature of the oversight.

Complete the clinical form (RI organizations)

Organizations configured for the Recovery Innovations template complete a structured Clinical Supervision Form on the sign page before signing. The form captures the fields RI's template requires, and it feeds the RI evidence package.

  1. On the sign page, open the clinical form section.
  2. Complete the required fields.
  3. Save the form, then sign the session.

The saved form data is included in the sealed evidence package and rendered into the RI Clinical Supervision Form PDF. See The RI Clinical Supervision Form.

Note: The clinical form appears only for organizations on the RI template. If your organization uses the standard AuditHalo template, you will not see it, and your sessions seal with the standard evidence package.
