Connecting your calendar
Connect Microsoft or Google so AuditHalo can schedule supervision sessions, create meeting links, and write to your calendar.
Last updated Sep 14, 2026
What you’ll need
- A Microsoft or Google work account
This guide shows you how to connect a calendar so AuditHalo can schedule supervision from inside the app: create the meeting, add the video link, and write the event to your calendar. Connecting also enables pulling a meeting transcript later for AI-assisted notes.
You connect your own calendar from your account page. Each person connects their own; connecting is per user, not per organization.
Providers you can connect
- Microsoft (Teams + Outlook). Creates Teams meetings and writes to Outlook Calendar.
- Google (Meet + Calendar). Creates Google Meet meetings and writes to Google Calendar.
Connect a calendar
- Go to your account page at
/dashboard/account. - Find the Calendar integrations card.
- Next to the provider you use, select Connect.
- Sign in with that provider and grant AuditHalo access when prompted.
After you authorize, the provider shows as connected, along with the account you connected as.

Note: AuditHalo stores your calendar authorization encrypted and uses it only to create and read the supervision events you schedule.
Set a preferred provider
If you connect both providers, set one as the default for new sessions.
- In the Calendar integrations card, find the connected provider you want as default.
- Select Set as preferred.
New sessions you schedule use the preferred provider unless you choose otherwise.
Disconnect a calendar
- In the Calendar integrations card, find the connected provider.
- Select Disconnect and confirm.
You can reconnect at any time. Disconnecting stops AuditHalo from creating or reading events with that provider; it does not delete events already on your calendar.
Warning: If you disconnect the calendar used for upcoming scheduled sessions, AuditHalo can no longer update or cancel those events on your calendar. Reconnect, or manage those events manually, before disconnecting mid-series.
