What you’ll need
- A supervisor or HR admin account
This guide covers the actions you take to run your subscription: start a trial, pick your plan and seats, upgrade from Solo to Practice, and manage payment details. Billing lives at /dashboard/billing.
Both supervisors and HR admins can manage billing. Payment, invoices, and cancellation are handled through Stripe's secure billing portal.
Start a plan
- Go to
/dashboard/billing. - Choose your plan: Solo (monthly or yearly) or Practice.
- For Practice, set the number of seats you need.
- Continue to checkout to start your 14-day trial.
You are not charged until the trial ends.

Upgrade from Solo to Practice
If you outgrow the Solo caseload limit, move up without leaving the app.
- Go to
/dashboard/billing. - Select Upgrade to Practice.
- Set your seat count and confirm.
Your plan switches to Practice and your seat count takes effect.
Tip: Upgrade before you invite past the Solo limit of 3 supervisees, so new invitations are not blocked by the seat cap.
Manage payment, invoices, and cancellation
Day-to-day billing changes happen in the Stripe billing portal.
- Go to
/dashboard/billing. - Open the customer portal.
- In the portal, update your card, download invoices, change your plan, or cancel.
AuditHalo syncs your subscription status, seat count, and renewal date from Stripe automatically, so your in-app plan display stays current.

Note: Enterprise plans are managed by contract, not through self-serve checkout or the portal. See Enterprise plans.
