Getting started as a supervisee
Accept your invitation, log practice hours, and countersign supervision sessions so your supervised hours hold up to a board audit.

What you’ll need
- An invitation email from your supervisor
This guide covers the three things you do in AuditHalo as a supervisee: accept your invitation, log your practice hours, and countersign the supervision sessions your supervisor records.
AuditHalo is free for you. Your supervisor invites you, sees the same dashboard you see, and signs each session first. Your job is to keep your hours accurate and countersign promptly.
Accept your invitation
- Open the invitation email from your supervisor and select the link inside.
- Set your password.
- Select the action to join.
You are added to your supervisor's roster and land on your dashboard at /dashboard. Your supervisor is notified that you accepted.

Note: Supervisees are always added by invitation. There is no separate supervisee sign-up, so use the link in your email rather than the marketing registration page.
Understand what you can see
You have a focused, private view:
- You can open only your own detail page and progress.
- You can see the calendar for your own sessions.
- You can log practice hours and countersign sessions.
- You cannot see the full roster, other supervisees, billing, or org settings.
Log your practice hours
Practice hours are the client-facing work that counts toward your license. Log them as you go so nothing is reconstructed from memory at audit time.
- Open your detail page at
/dashboard/roster/[your-id]. - Select Log session and choose the practice type.
- Enter the date, duration, and direct client contact hours.
- Save the entry.
Your entry appears as pending approval. It does not count toward your requirements until your supervisor approves it.

Note: If your supervisor rejects an entry, you receive a notification with the reason. Correct the details and log it again.
Countersign your supervision sessions
When your supervisor records and signs a supervision session, it needs your countersignature to seal.
- Open the session from your notifications or the session log.
- Review the session details: date, duration, and type.
- Select Sign session.
- Select the checkbox: I confirm that I intend to electronically sign this session record.
- Submit your signature.
Once you countersign, AuditHalo seals the session into an evidence package and notifies you both.

Note: Your supervisor signs first. You cannot countersign until they have signed, so a session may sit until your supervisor completes their part.
